Batching tools can help you organize your work so that it can be easily outsourced. A lot will depend on the provider that is doing your outsourcing for you. Are they doing it on a hourly basis are they doing in on a per job basis.  Ideally you want to be able to create content in such a way that when they do something for you you’re doing it in batches.  Once you get ahead in production you will actually develop an inventory for these types of content .  This in turn becomes a backlog of items that you can then schedule.  There are a variety of tools that you can use for batching and scheduling. These work especially well with social media and blog posts where you can schedule your content.

Some of the common batching tools that you can use are HootSuite (which is what I use) which allows you to create social media posts in a variety of channels and schedule them in advance so that they are broadcast to a very social media channels.  Meet Edgar is another social media batching tool that you can use and also allows you to both allow you to look at multiple channels at the same time in the event that you have multiple channels to work from.  You will generally need to create CSV or Excel spreadsheets,  but it’s a fairly easy process and you can actually schedule your work weeks or even months out.

Creating posts in batch form is really just taking a common sense and efficient approach to your work.  Think of making a dozen cookies. Would you check the recipe, gather ingredients for one cookie, prepare and bake that one cookie, then repeat the process 11 more times?  Probably not – and that is the theory of batching posts.

There are many programs that can help you.  By spending a few minutes using them to schedule posts for the week (one option) you are able to focus on the other aspects of your business time and family.
