SMS Messaging / Two Way Texting (Inbound Texting) lets you keep in touch with your target audience by broadcasting messages to them and then they reply to it is need be. The system or user interface is mostly run on a laptop / desktop computer application.  However, some are run on a mobile app. Schools were some of the early adopters to keep in touch with their students. They used it to announce critical information such as class registration dates, school closures due to emergencies, school events, as well as graduation announcements.

Many more industries are starting to use two-way text systems. Any industry that actively engages with their audience can benefit from SMS systems. They are becoming popular in the cruise industry, certain sporting industries, hotel industry or any type of industry that has a type of membership. SMS messaging is also becoming popular for prospecting and reaching new customers.

It’s like email but faster

The Two-Way text is like a mass email marketing system. You have a list of contacts, instead of emails you have a list of mobile phone numbers. You can send out your messages just like you would send out a regular email message. The system will let you choose a database profile that contains all the contacts saved in said database profile. In turn the system will have a list of people that has replied your broadcast message. It shows the date and time a person replied, the phone number the reply came from, and the subject of the text they are replying to. The system will let you reply back to any reply that you’ve received.

Government use too

Not to get presidential or political, the past and current presidents used a form of two-way texting in their campaigns. Barack Obama used an actual email marketing campaign while Donald Trump used Twitter. All in all, the system can be called a type of social media messaging system. The Two-Way Text system is a great tool for reaching out to people where a response is really what counts such as on the campaign trail. That way a candidate can find out what their constituents really want and what they think their approval ratings can be.

The Two-Way Text system can be a great tool for building greater customer base and customer loyalty. For example, if you were to send out a broadcast to your current customer or membership base you can add in a type of clause asking to pass along or forward the message to their friends who will find the message useful. And most of the times their friend would also in turn join the company or become a member themselves.

Media Usage

Also, Advertisement Agencies, Banks, Consumer Brand, TV / Radio Stations, Retail Stores, B2B companies, Communities are also more of the type of industries that can benefit from SMS Messaging. Anyone that want to have an instant line of communication with current and future customers. When I say anyone, I mean anyone. There a lot of entrepreneurs that want to market a brand name for themselves. They could have a line of clothing they are starting, they could be in the process of making a name in real-estate, they could be in the show car industry all which relies on followers to grow the customer base they need. And those entrepreneurs will want to have that open line of communication with those followers.

Imagine using platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to announce your new article of clothing, a newly built home on the market, or your next show car event, then top it off with the Two-Way Texting system. Imagine that; then imagine how your customer base will grow.
